SmackDown draws the best viewership of 2019

While the viewership for Raw declined for the second week in a row despite the approaching WrestleMania PPV, SmackDown managed to gather its best rating in a while.

This week’s episode of SmackDown featured the follow up of Kofi Kingston’s loss in the Gauntlet match last week and an announced AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle bout.

These segments turned out to be a draw as the show drew 2.393 million viewers, up from last week’s episode of the show which had drawn 2.208 million viewers

This is best SmackDown viewership for 2019 and the best numbers the show has done since the SmackDown 1000 special on October 16th last year.

With the next week’s episode being the go home show, it’s possible that we’ll see further increase in the viewership for the Blue Brand but we’ll have to wait and see if it turns out to be the case.
