Smackdown fist might return owing to WWE’s Fox move

WWE will be moving to Fox in October of this year and a lot of changes will be taking place on Smackdown Live. One of the ideas being discussed is related to the changing of production and set designs.

While WWE has no plans of returning to the days of TV-14, they are trying to get back fans of the Ruthless Aggression Era and one way WWE might do that is by bringing back the iconic Smackdown Fist.

According to a report by Brad Shepard, WWE’s plan features the return of the Smackdown Fist. Here is what he said:

As I previously reported, a new set with an Attitude Era-feel is coming to #WWE #SDLive on Fox. I’m told the plan is for the new set to feature the return of the Smackdown fist. The fist is currently ready for use and in storage. #OYDKWS

It will certainly be great to see the Fist back if this turns out to be true. We will keep you updated regarding Smackdown Live’s move to Fox once we learn more.
