Over the weekend, Smackdown General Manager Paige announced that there would be a tag team tournament to determine the new #1 contenders for the tag team titles. Paige revealed the teams participating in the tournament in a post on Twitter.

The Usos, SAnitY, The Bar and The New Day will face off over the next three weeks in an attempt to get a shot at the Bludgeon Brothers. This will be the first angle for The Bar in months.

The first match in the tournament takes place this week on Smackdown Live when the New Day takes on SAnitY. Considering how the Bludgeon Brothers have run through the likes of New Day and the Usos, it’s likely we’ll see the Bar get a chance to take down Rowan and Harper.
