The Bludgeon Brothers were hit with a massive blow when Eric Rowan suffered a suspected biceps tear at Summerslam during their bout against the New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team titles. The injury was soon confirmed after The New Day reclaimed the title on SmackDown soon after. Since then neither Rowan or Harper have appeared on television.
Harper, although, made a one-time appearance on an NXT live-event to challenge Ricochet for the North Amercian Championship. The former member of the Wyatt Family seems to have jumped on the injury wagon after he was spotted with a cast on his left hand in a picture taken after a Brad Williams stand-up show. Harper is speculated to reunite with Bray Wyatt, who also has been off television after Matt Hardy’s switch to a backstage role.
