Smackdown Live takes place at The O2 in London, England today. Before the superstars of the Blue Brand take the stage, let’s go over the preview for Smackdown.
With almost all of the men’s MITB participants decided, Smackdown Live looks to fill the last two slots tonight. With Kevin Owens and Bobby Roode joining the ladder match last night, which Smackdown superstars will earn a chance at the MITB contract? The New Day and The Bar will clash tonight, with one member of the winning team moving onto the MITB ladder match.
Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega are also scheduled to make their debut today. El Idolo hasn’t been seen in-ring since he lost the NXT Championship to Aleister Black at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans.
Carmella will be throwing a “Royal Mellabration” tonight, celebrating her title reign and victories over Charlotte Flair.
And finally, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura will go head-to-head tonight. The two have a WWE Championship match scheduled for Money in the Bank, and the winner of tonight’s bout will decide the stipulation for their title match.
