Smackdown sees increase in ratings

We are getting closer to the Royal Rumble, which will officially begin the road to Wrestlemania. So every episode of WWE television will have something important for storylines. It seems this week’s ratings for Smackdown were positive.

According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, WWE Friday Night SmackDown received 2.503 million viewers for the two-hour show. The show drew 2.697 million viewers in the first hour and 2.326 million for the second hour.

They also managed a .75 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. They were second in this demographic, behind Hawaii Five-O.

The ratings are up from last week’s  2.413 million viewers. We will have to see how they build the storylines.
