Smackdown sees increase in viewership

This week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown continued to build towards Survivor Series. It seems this week Smackdown fared better despite competition.

 


 

According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, WWE Friday Night SmackDown received an overnight average of 2.209 million viewers for its two-hour broadcast. It had a .7 in the first hour and a .6 in the second in the 18-49 demographic. This was an increase compared to last week’s episode.

Last week’s show garnered 2.133 million viewers and a .6 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That was a considerable increase compared to the previous episode on FS1 and also the week before that.

The episode on FS1 managed only 881,000 viewers with a .25 in the 18-49 demographic on FS1. They were #15 in the night. Game 3 of the World Series drew over 8 million viewers.

The episode prior to that received an overnight average of 1.9865 million viewers. It brought in 1.978 million viewers in the first hour and 1.995 in the second. It also got a .5 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
