SmackDown star signs new 5 years contract with WWE

Dana Brooke has joined the group of WWE stars who have signed new contracts with WWE by signing a new, 5 years long deal with the company.

The SmackDown star recently had an interview with Sports Illustrated where she talked about her career in the company so far, among other things.

Talking about her status with WWE, Brooke revealed that she recently signed a new 5 years contract with the promotion, with the goal to build a personal brand for herself:

“I just signed a new five-year deal in WWE, and part of my goal is to build my own personal brand. And women empowerment is a key in the success of my career and a key for WWE. We can do what the male wrestlers have done over the years, and now women are finally being given that chance. That also means that I get the chance to show what I can do, and I really believe that 2020 is going to be the year that people see a different side of me.”

With this signing, Dana Brooke joins the likes of The New Day, Street Profits, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and a number of other stars who have signed contract extensions with the company in recent times.
