The Royal Rumble is almost here and WWE likes to keep their fans guessing as to who might be the surprise entrants for the match so that the crowd can give a loud pop when they see who it is. It seems that a former WWE superstar is scheduled to be in the match.
On the latest edition of PWI Insider Elite audio, Mike Johnson noted that according to a source, former WWE superstar Hornswoggle is scheduled to appear in the Royal Rumble match. Here is what he said:
“Dave and I talked I joked yesterday about this name, but then last night I got a call from someone who told me that I was actually right and as far as they knew Hornswoggle was booked for the Royal Rumble. So spoiler warning, obviously.”
Hornswoggle still has a good relationship with the WWE, so his appearance isn’t impossible. We will have to wait and see what happens.
