NXT filmed another round of television tapings a few days after NXT TakeOver: New York. During these shows, fans will finally get to see the debut of Kushida on NXT.
Kushida is a six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion who left NJPW earlier this year in order to sign with WWE. He made his first WWE appearance back at NXT TakeOver: New York. Now he is finally performing at the Full Sail Arena.
In his first match, Kushida faced off against Kassius Ohno. Kushida was victorious in his first match as he made short work of Ohno. It seems WWE allowed Kushida to keep his orange vest as well. It will be interesting to see how he fares in NXT.
