WWE has announced that NXT general manager William Regal will be making two ‘game-changing announcements’ during this week’s episode of the show.
People have been speculating since then on what are the announcements Regal is planning to make and now a new report might have spoiled the details of the same.
Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso recently made a tweet and he revealed that one of the announcements is going to be the creation of separate women’s tag team championships for the third brand of WWE:
NXT news: In addition to announcing the creation of tag titles for the women’s division, the second reveal tomorrow will be centered around the two-night TakeOver, sources tell Sports Illustrated. One night will air live on the USA Network, with the other exclusively on Peacock.

The second announcement as he mentions revolves around the next NXT Takeover special and WWE is apparently getting ready to confirm the first-ever two-day Takeover event.
For those who don’t know, recent reports had revealed that a Takeover special is scheduled for WWE Network on Thursday, April 8, just two days before night 1 of this year’s WrestleMania.
Further updates on the situation then revealed that the company is planning to make the Takeover special a two-day event. The first night of the show is expected to air on USA Network in its usual Wednesday timeslot during the mania weekend.
The second night will then air on the WWE Network on Thursday and NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver could be the name of the event, suggested by some latest trademark filings from the company.
