Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view concluded recently, where Brian Cage retained his Impact World Championship against Sami Callihan. However, Cage has since then lost the championship.
During Impact Wrestling’s television taping, Sami Callihan faced off against Brian Cage for the Impact World Championship in a steel cage match. It was said to be an intense match, where Callihan came out victorious. He is now the new Impact World Champion.
Following his win, Tessa Blanchard came down to the ring and challenged Callihan for a shot at the title. He then denied her the title shot and made his way out of the ring. It seems Blanchard is being groomed for a future shot at the title.
