The Greatest Royal Rumble had a segment where the company introduced some local talents from Saudi Arabia who had a tryout earlier in the week.
Though these talents were interrupted by Ariya Daivari and Shawn Daivari who introduced themselves as Iranian athletes and insulted the other talents in addition to the jabs at Saudi Arabia.
The segment ended with the new talents beating both Daivari brothers and sending them to retreat. However, it appears that this whole drama didn’t sit very well with some people.
In a couple of tweets as seen below, Ariya Daivari revealed that he has received death threats for the segment at the Greatest Royal Rumble and he apologized to anyone who may have been offended by the skit:

It’s worth mentioning here that this is not the only controversy coming out of the Greatest Royal Rumble. There is already issue about the lack of female talent of the show and the absence of Sami Zayn due to political reasons has also been a hot topic of discussion recently.
