Stephan Bonnar Cause of Death Revealed

Former UFC fighter Stephan Bonnar died today from heart issues. UFC posted, “The UFC family is saddened by the tragic passing of UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar Thursday from presumed heart complications while at work.

 


 

He was 45.

“Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the Octagon,” said UFC President Dana White. “His fight with Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever, and he will never be forgotten. The fans loved him, related to him and he always gave them his best. He will be missed.”

A pioneering competitor who introduced himself to UFC fans on season one of The Ultimate Fighter in 2005, Bonnar teamed up with Forrest Griffin at the show’s finale to produce one of the greatest fights of all-time, later earning it a place in the UFC Hall of Fame’s fight wing.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov is undoubtedly one of the best MMA fighters in the history of the MMA world and finally ended his career while still being undefeated and at the top. Since his retirement, Khabib has been enjoying life in other ways. Nurmagomedov’s last professional MMA fight took place back in October 2020. He earned a second-round submission victory over Justin Gaethje to successfully retain the UFC Lightweight Title. After the bout, an emotional Nurmagomedov told Jon Anik that his fighting career is over. He mentioned a promise he made to his mother of never fighting again after the death of his father Abdulmanap. Khabib also revealed why he really tired from the MMA world.

Khabib Nurmagomedov appears to be attempting to instill a level of discipline in the students at his gym. A new video shows

fighters who train at Nurmagomedov’s gym being ‘punished’ for breaking stringent hair requirements.

A coach at the gym was seen inspecting the hair of the students, and anyone whose hair was deemed too long was smacked with a long, bamboo stick. The video was posted on YouTube by @SmeshMMA, who said the following:

“In Khabib’s gym there is a haircut code that you can’t break. If you do, here is the punishment.”
