Stephanie McMahon and WWE have been cleaning house to their Talent Relations department since news broke yesterday that now former WWE talent Mickie James’ belongings were sent to her in a garbage bag following her release from the company. One of these releases included Senior Manager of Talent Relations for WWE and WWE referee, John Cone who was released from his position in talent relations. WWE legend and Hall of Famer, Mick Foley even tweeted about the incident as he proclaimed the following. Stephanie McMahon recently posted this ‘embarrassing’ diva photo

“Personally, I thought John Cone did a very good job as Senior Manager of Talent Relations for
@WWE. I thoroughly enjoyed working with John on many occasions over the past several years. Maybe the company will rethink that decision.”

In a follow-up to this story however, it appears that WWE management, including Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, and Triple H, have reconsidered Cone’s dismissal afterall and has brought him back to his original post as Senior Manager of Talent Relations as per PWInsider. The outlet is reporting that Cone is currently reporting to current Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis. The recently let-go, Mark Carrano held the position that is currently by Laurinaitis prior to his eventual release from the company.
