Stephanie McMahon comments on steps WWE is taking against racial injustice

The racial injustice in America has been a huge topic of discussion in the past few days and WWE also came forward to support the Black Lives Matter campaign.

The company’s chief branding officer Stephanie McMahon talked about the issue in a recent Women In The Business of Sports panel and she discussed the steps WWE is taking.

McMahon said that it’s not enough to just put out a statement and say that they are going to do something and detailed the things they are doing across multiple sectors:

“It’s not enough to just put out a statement and say you’re going to do something. We’ve been doing a number of things across multiple sectors. From employees, we’re looking at different types of training, resources, and platforms to encourage our employees to speak and let them know that they are heard and any action items that come out of that. We’re looking to partner with a few different organizations to make sure we’re able to amplify and use our platforms in the best way possible. Education being primary. We’re not ready to make any formal announcement, but we’re getting further down the pike in something that will be meaningful for the community,”

Stephanie McMahon also talked about the Raw star Bianca Belair saying that she doesn’t know Belair very well personally but she knows her story.
