Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE before he had to step down following allegations of sexual misconduct and allegedly having paid $12 million in hush money in a huge scandal. He eventually retired from WWE for good and was replaced by his daughter Stephanie McMahon as the CEO of WWE. His son-in-law Triple H is now the Executive Vice President of Talent and Relations as well. Vince McMahon also lied about quitting WWE recently.

On the October 31, 2002, episode of SmackDown, Stephanie McMahon saw Bischoff wearing a Vince McMahon Halloween mask in her father’s office. The former WCW President removed the mask before passionately kissing Stephanie McMahon.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross, a WWE commentator and talent relations executive at the time, discussed the segment on the Survivor Series 2002 episode of this podcast.

“Yeah, it’s weird, strange. That’s inside the mind of Vince McMahon (…) I remember that kiss with Eric and Stephanie. She became a hell of a talent on-air, a hell of a talent. Pulling off a kiss like that, it graduates from somewhat being forced upon her to her transitioning where, ‘Hey, I kinda like this.'”

This segment will remain a very controversial segment as well.
