Stephanie McMahon Found Fired Star Drunk

The former WWE star Rhino and WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon shared a unique friendship back in the day. They were paired on-screen when Rhino joined WWE in 2001 following ECW closing. The two were aligned as part of the Invasion angle and famously feuded with Chris Jericho, who is currently signed with AEW. Rhino revealed how he was caught drinking by Stephanie.

Rhino describes the incident

During their time together on-screen, the two became friends and Rhino always appreciated Stephanie looking out for him. Rhino recalled the incident taking place in 2004. Rhino, with Stephanie in his corner, would lose to Jericho at SummerSlam 2001. The partnership between Stephanie and Rhino also ended after the bout.

Speaking on Talk’N Shop, Rhino recalled that after an event Rhino was having some drinks courtesy of Nunzio. He discussed the incident stating:

“She caught me drunk one time. I was wasted.”

He went on to state that “Nunzio wasn’t drinking because he was up later, but I started drinking and almost finished a fifth, and I didn’t drink at the time, so I’m just wasted.” He revealed that he was throwing waters in his bag when Stephanie turned up. Rhino said:

“We’re leaving, I’m riding with Christian and we had a late flight, it was an afternoon show. I don’t why, but I was throwing waters in my bag, I couldn’t take them on the plane, I was just throwing them in the bag and staggering. [Stephanie] comes up and is like, ‘Rhino, are you okay?’ She wanted to make sure I wasn’t pilled up, you could smell the alcohol on me. I thought, ‘Shit, what a buzzkill.’ I think it’s because we developed that friendship, [WWE] didn’t say anything to me. I was like, ‘Yeah, grabbing a few waters, waiting on Christian (Cage), he’s driving.’ I wanted to make sure she knew he was driving. It was cool.

Rhino is currently signed to IMPACT Wrestling.
