Stephanie McMahon Rejects Hiring Alleged Pedophile

The former NXT star Velveteen Dream has been a controversial figure. He was a popular star on the brand in the past. His gimmick and in-ring skills helped him gain huge popularity. However, he was also a subject of controversy when he found himself at the end of the allegations. There have been multiple allegations against the Velveteen Dream.

He has been eyeing for a return to WWE. However, he has once found himself in trouble which is connected to a drug case he caught last year. With Triple H becoming the WWE Chief Content Officer, he has brought some former NXT stars back in the company. But, in the case of Dream, it seems that the chances of former North American Champion returning looks narrow.

Triple H is unlikely to bring back Velveteen Dream

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has said there is no chance of Patrick Clark, aka Velveteen Dream returning. He was arrested for possession of drugs, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and destroying, altering, or concealing evidence.

”The August arrest noted in last week’s issue for a fight at the Club Orlando gym where Clark allegedly bit an employee who told him to leave an area of the gym being cleaned and police were called and saw the teeth marks on the employees chest, was considered a probation violation and he was put in jail for 25 days but has been released. I would say there is no chance of him coming back,” said Meltzer.

Amid all the accusations, Triple H had said in August 2020 that WWE looked into the allegations and found nothing against him. We will have to see what the future holds for Dream.
