WWE has been dropping hints about the introduction of a Women’s Tag titles from some time now and the latest of these hints came from Stephanie McMahon.

Sky Sports spoke to the Raw Commissioner ahead of the Evolution PPV and when asked about a Women’s Tag Title, the WWE Official said that they are coming ‘sooner than we think’.

The site then spoke to a number of female WWE stars about the titles and commenting on them, Bayley said that she never thought herself as a tag team champion but claimed that it will be cool to be the first ever Women’s Tag Champion:

“I never thought of myself as a tag team champion, You always want to go for the Women’s Championship, which Ronda Rousey has right now, but it would be so cool to be the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and if I can do that and be able to accomplish that with my best friend, it’s like, ‘Okay, we’re doing it!'”

It’s worth mentioning here that this is not the only hint WWE has dropped about the introduction of these titles in the past week and several fans noted on Twitter that Officials were handing out signs regarding it during last week’s episode of SmackDown Live:

She never said a word about making them soon or ever.
