Steve Austin Angers WWE Diva At WrestleMania

WE Hall Of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s feud with The Rock has gone down in history as one of the most iconic feuds in all of professional wrestling. Their feud ended at WrestleMania 19 in 2003, which was Steve Austin’s final match as an in-ring competitor. It was the third match at WrestleMania in their feud. Steve Austin and The Rock Smackdown return also leaked previously.

After that match, the WWE Hall Of Famer was supposed to face off against Brock Lesnar. However, he chose to leave WWE and retire from the squared circle for good. He has yet to compete in the ring since his retirement back then.

Steve Austin squared off against Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 38 Night One’s main event. In the end, Steve Austin won the match. Ronda Rousey was unable to defeat Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38 for the Smackdown Women’s Championship as well.

According to a report by Brian Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio, Ronda Rousey was said to be absolutely ”furious” ahead of WrestleMania 38. It was said that she was upset over not main eventing WrestleMania 38 Night One and walked out of the WWE Hall Of Fame taping.

“She discovered she was no longer scheduled to go on last on Friday, and, in a shocking development, walked out of Friday’s taping before the Hall of Fame ceremony unfolded. Clearly, “cooler heads” did indeed “prevail.” She did the job to Charlotte Flair via ref bump shenanigans in a match Ric Flair has described as “the greatest.”

In an exclusive piece for WWE.com, Austin would briefly praise Kevin Owens for helping him put on the match that he did during WrestleMania 38 Saturday. Credit to SportsKeeda for the below.

“I came here looking for anything. This is where I started. I was lucky enough to finish here. KO is outstanding, and he ran his mouth a little too much, and it caught up with him. But it was an honor to be here on such a stacked card with so many great matches,”
