Steve Austin Training for a WWE Comeback?, Austin Wraps Filming on New Season of TV Show

– WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin recently mentioned that he was training for a comeback. In a recent Steve Austin Show podcast with former wrestler and bodybuilder Ric Drason, Austin said:

“I’m trying to get back into shape for a comeback.”

Austin casually made the comment and didn’t go into any further detail.

In other Stone Cold news, Austin noted this past week that he wrapped season 4 of CMT’s Redneck Island. Filming was done in Hartwell, Georgia.

Hogan can barely tie his shoes without assistance nowadays. Although it would be a safe match for the both of them in terms of physicality, the match would be terrible at this point. There is no legit heat they could build upon where it would make sense to where they could get by doing highspots and spending a lot of time outside the ring like with Rock/Hogan. That ship sailed a long time ago just like Sting/Taker did.

The only opponents at this point that would make sense for Austin IMO are CM Punk, John Cena, and at a very distant 3rd one more match with The Rock.

What they could do is perhaps have both Hogan and Austin be entrants to the Royal Rumble and work a scenario where they face off just like in 1990 with Hogan and Warrior. Use that as a gauge to see if it is worth the risk of having Hogan/Austin at WM31. This way both guys have a reason to be in the ring with each other and have plenty of time for rest periods.

I also like to see them go one more time against eachother. They had a awsome rivalry back in the day’s, but never faced eachother at the biggest stage off them all.

No… look at the last 10 years HHH has wrestled mania… then come back to me and tell me hes just getting himself over.

Personally, I would love to see Austin vs Angle at WM31. I loved their old rivalries and matches. Good stuff!

Probably another established guy like HHH

    Kurt Angle,Sting or Punk @mania

He’s mostly likely seeing how getting back into shape feels and how much he can do it, then opponent will be named. Seems funny though Hogan also is training for something

If not CM Punk, I can’t see who he would have a worth wild program with.
