Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar Raw Match Rumor Leaks

WWE Hall Of Famer The ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair has been regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots in the world of professional wrestling. He is also a man full of controversies and has had trouble with a lot of pro wrestlers and pro wrestling personalities. One of them includes WWE legend Teddy Long. Bret Hart also recently called out Ric Flair for ‘flat out lie.’

One of the previous episodes of Vice’s Dark Side Of The Ring series focused on the infamous Plane Ride From Hell incident and it immediately brought heat on Ric Flair, Tommy Dreamer and others. It seems Ric Flair is not out of the dog house just yet.

Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever competed inside the squared circle. He had two tremendous runs in WWE, both of which resulted in him winning major World Championships and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 last year. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.

Brock Lesnar made his return at WWE SummerSlam and then appeared on a previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown and confronted Roman Reigns for a WWE Universal Championship match, which he eventually accepted.

The two were set to square off against each other at WWE Crown Jewel for the WWE Universal Championship on October 21st in Saudi Arabia. At the event, Brock Lesnar ended up losing the match after interference from The Usos and Roman Reigns using the WWE Universal Championship to hit Lesnar in the head.

At WWE Day 1, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal Five-Way match. This is because Roman Reigns could not compete at the pay-per-view and face Brock Lesnar because he tested positive for the virus.

Ric Flair recently spoke on the  Wooooo Nation UNCENSORED, where he talked about Brock Lesnar taking care of him during their match on Monday Night RAW in 2002.

“He took care of me,” said Flair. “He never hurt me, he never hurt me. I’ll tell you that. When he latches on to you, you’re not going anywhere. The first time I wrestled him was the night Steve Austin quit in Atlanta, and Vince said, ‘You’re not part of RAW,” I said, “I thought I owned RAW,” He said, ‘…You’re wrestling Brock Lesnar [tonight]

Steve Austin was scheduled to face Brock Lesnar on the June 10, 2002 Raw, but it was canceled when Austin walked out on the company.
