Steve Austin may wrestle again, Give Me Sport reports.
Louis Dangoor was told by WrestleVotes, “I know that he had a wonderful time doing it last year in Dallas. He was happy, he was elated. Let’s say that the performance of the match, everything went so well and people loved it so much, So I know he was thrilled to post WrestleMania. And I’d say he was open to doing it again.”
It was added about WrestleMania 39, “If you’re gonna get The Rock, do you need both of them? As much as people would say absolutely, with all the shows that they do in stadiums now, and I understand WrestleMania is your biggest one, but you could do Rock at WrestleMania and Steve Austin at SummerSlam. That makes more sense.”
The dream match between the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Rock has been on the cards for quite some time. There have been several speculations regarding the same and the potential match is slated to take place at WrestleMania 39. Roman Reigns even called out The Rock during a WWE live event. The Rock’s WWE return is also reportedly 100% in the plans.
Roman Reigns is likely to beat The Rock
While speaking with Bill Apter, Lance Anoa’i stated that he believes Roman Reigns will beat The Rock:
“That rumor or that dream match or whatever you want to call it has been in the ears of everybody for a long time. Whether it will come to (fruition) or not, who knows but knowing WWE, they’ll probably do whatever it takes to make it happen. I would pick Roman. I feel that he has the youth, the strength, and the time to dedicate to fans of the wrestling federation.”
The Rock had announced his retirement from professional wrestling three years ago. But he is not ruling out the potential match and has an immense interest in facing his cousin while Reigns also shares the same outlook.
Roman Reigns and the entire Bloodline is set to make an appearance on RAW tonight ahead of The Tribal Chief’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship defense against Logan Paul at the Crown Jewel premium live event.
