Sting Drug Bombshell Revealed To AEW Fans

Sting previously worked for WWE before AEW, finally accepting an offer from Vince McMahon. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has the final say in anything and everything that goes on in the company, for better or worse. Vince McMahon also sabotaged Jon Moxley’s matches.

Sting is more than happy working in AEW now with Darby Allin. On the 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff spoke about that time of Sting’s career. Bischoff said he was good friends with Sting up until the end of 1997. However, his backstage issues and addiction ruined their friendship at the time, though he later cleaned up.

“When I said I could tell that Sting wasn’t ready, this is what I meant. And I wasn’t about to say anything publicly. Sting chose to. But in that point of time in March 1998 didn’t just happen within 90 days. It had been an issue for quite some time.”

Current AEW Star and former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho is no doubt one of the most accomplished and popular pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He has competed in several promotions such as WCW, WWE, ECW, New Japan Pro Wrestling and AEW among others. Chris Jericho also previously dropped a major return bombshell.

Chris Jericho also competed in quite a few matches in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, starting from his IWGP United States Championship against Kenny Omega back in 2018 to his matches for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship with Tetsuya Naito. He also squared off against Hiroshi Tanahashi back in 2020.
