In the latest episode of his podcast, The Steve Austin Show, WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin discussed his favorite moments from this Sunday’s WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view.
The WWE Hall of Famer discussed the title changes that took place on the show and spoke positively about the RAW Tag Team Championship match between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman and the team of Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode formed their team last month and now they are the RAW Tag Team Champions. Stone Cold praised the performances put up by both of them and commented on how they deserved to have a title run. He said:
“Dolph Ziggler has been there for a real long time, and his work is just… Dolph Ziggler is just a great worker and he [has] really turned up the volume on those promos, so congrats to both those guys. But to Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler, for winning those titles, it’s great to see the gold, silver, whatever color they are, in their hands.”
Steve Austin also stated that the title change was really important as it helped in building up for the main event match between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.
