Tamina & Nia Jax challenged the Boss & Hug Connection for the Women’s Tag Team Championship tonight at WWE Fastlane. After a rough match, Bayley was able to roll up Jax for the pinfall and retain the titles.
Immediately after that, though, Tamina & Jax beat down the champions. They made their way to the outside where they sent them across the announce table. Beth Phoenix, who had joined the commentary team for the match, decided to stand up and put a stop to it. She stared down Tamina before catching her with a right to the jaw.
Though Tamina was stunned, Jax knocked Phoenix down with a clothesline to the back of the head. Inside the ring, Jax dropped her with a Samoan Drop. Natalya attempted to make the save but was also beaten down by Tamina & Jax for her trouble.
