Taylor Swift Going To White House With Massive Name?

With the conclusion of the Super Bowl, the focus on Taylor Swift has shifted to speculation about her potential attendance at the traditional White House celebration for the winning team, the Kansas City Chiefs. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre addressed questions about Swift’s invitation during a press briefing, emphasizing that the decision ultimately lies with the Chiefs.

Jean-Pierre stated, “That is going to be up to the Chiefs and obviously their decision to figure out who is going to come with them when they come. As you know, it is a White House tradition. I can’t speak to attendance and who will be here. But look forward to having them here and obviously congratulate them on a great win.”

The press secretary opened the briefing by congratulating the Chiefs and extending her wishes to all the “Swifties” – a term used to refer to Taylor Swift’s fans. Swift was present at the Super Bowl to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Chiefs.

While Swift endorsed President Biden in the 2020 election, her stance for the current election cycle remains unknown. The press briefing made a light reference to pre-Super Bowl conspiracy theories, including one suggesting that the game was rigged to ensure Swift’s presence and a potential endorsement of the president’s re-election. President Biden humorously responded to such speculations on social media.

The briefing also touched upon Biden’s re-election campaign launching a TikTok account, despite security concerns leading to restrictions on the use of the platform by federal agency-owned devices. Jean-Pierre exercised caution in commenting on TikTok, citing an ongoing review of parent company ByteDance by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
