Tegan Nox, sadly, was injured during her quarterfinals matchup against Rhea Ripley. Originally, Nox was scheduled to defeat Ripley and move onto the semifinals. In fact, it’s been reported that The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard was on her way to a finals matchup against Toni Storm at WWE Evolution.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Nox was, more than likely, the next winner of the Mae Young Classic. Nox would have gone on to defeat Toni Storm at WWE Evolution, launching her into NXT as one of the top women on the brand.
Sadly, Nox’s injury took her out of the tournament and will keep her away from the ring for quite a while.
