With the AEW promotion scouting talents to fill their roster, any big name hitting the free market could quickly become the subject of a bidding war between the companies.
And a latest report from F4Wonline reveals two big wrestling legends who are currently signed to WWE have their contracts expiring just around the time for the upcoming WrestleMania 35 event.
While the exact date for the same is not known, according to the site, both Jeff and Matt Hardy who made their return to WWE during WrestleMania 33 have their contracts expiring sometime around April.
However, the site also notes that the two years deal has a clause for the third year with “substantial pay raise” and in the current climate, it’s believed that the company will opt in for this option.
No word yet on if the Hardy’s have any thoughts about leaving the company and if they can try to get free when the time comes, but we’ll keep you updated.
