Former World Champion The Miz is back to being Mr Money In The Bank after getting his contract back on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
The Raw star had cashed in his contract during the match between Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles at the TLC PPV but McIntyre had managed to win this bout.
However, it was The Miz’s partner John Morrison who handed the briefcase to the referee during the PPV and initiated the cash in. Since the rules said that the Miz needs to be the one to initiate the cash in, he had been demanding that his contract should be returned to him.
Then during a backstage segment on this week’s episode of Raw, Adam Pearce informed The Miz that he has regained the possession of the contract because of the rules.
There is no word yet on where WWE intends to go with this storyline and what they are planning for the A-Lister but it would be interesting to see if his next cash in attempt turns out to be successful.
