The Miz on Daniel Cormier possibly joining WWE: “It’s very difficult”

There have been talks about retired UFC fighter Daniel Cormier possibly joining WWE and The Miz recently shared his thoughts on the matter.

The former World Champion was interviewed by TMZ Sports where he was asked about the UFC star possibly making the transition to pro wrestling and the Miz implied that it’s not very easy:

“It’s very difficult. Like, not many people are able to do it. Not many people can be as successful as Ronda Rousey was, which — she came in and really did a tremendous job just acclimating to our style of professional wrestling. And so, she did a great job; if he can do that, then that’s fantastic. But some people just can’t get it … It takes a little more than charisma to be a successful Superstar.”

The A-Lister continued by saying that there isn’t a trick to make it into the wrestling world and according to the Miz; it’s one of the hardest jobs he has seen in the entertainment industry:

“There isn’t a trick. If there was a trick, then I mean, everyone can do a trick, you know? Honestly, this is one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever seen in entertainment. Because it’s live, it’s in your face, it’s athleticism, it’s entertainment. You have to have all these different realms, and like bring it all into one.”

The Miz was also asked what advice he would give Cormier if he does make the jump and the former champion told the former UFC star to “stick with it”.

He went on to explain that he has seen many people quit the industry because of the toll it takes on their body or because they can’t handle the travel and revealed that it’s the best advice he has ever received.
