Sami Callihan (Solomon Crowe in NXT) requested his WWE release so that he could revamp his current image, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. Callihan was not happy with the way he was progressing in NXT, which led to him wanting to leave WWE.
Callihan wants to, “reinvent his image on the independent scene as one of the best wrestlers in the world.”
It’s said that he left the company on good terms, and a potential return to WWE is possible in the future.
