The Revival

This is from another site .. truly awful names.

Both wrestlers have updated their social media accounts, confirming
their new names. Dash Wilder (real name Daniel Wheeler) is now Cash
Wheeler, and Scott Dawson (real name David Harwood) is now Dax Hardwood.
Based on trademarks the pair are in the process of acquiring it is
expected their tag team name will be either Top Guys or Shatter Machine.

I spoke too soon. New reports state that there is no noncompete in effect. They can work anywhere now, which means they can earn money now.

  • Omar

What I was implying was that their contract was set to expire this month (at least 1 of them) and if they had let it expire then there would be no noncompete clause in effect, however they released them which adds 3 month noncompete. But thats a nonissue now.

I was under the impression it was later this month that one runs out, and June for the other.

  • CC

Not really. You sign a contract and you know the rules. Many companies will put people on gardening leave or have stipulations in contracts that stop you going to competitors for certain amounts of time. Even the nothing of a company that I work for tells me I cannot work for a company doing the same thing for 6 months after leaving them.

I believe at least one of them had their contract run out, so one of them is not under a 90 non-compete. Plus, with the way things are right now, a 90 day non-compete isn’t a big deal because pretty much every wrestler is not competing at the moment.

  • Omar

Its a dastardly thing done by WWE. Trapping them for 3 months; WITHOUT PAY.

  • CC

Not like the 90 day no compete clause is gonna make a difference right now anyway.
