The Revival reportedly asked for their WWE release this week

The Revival has been very vocal about their booking in the WWE for a very long time. It seemed like things had mellowed down between the two parties but it turns out that’s not the case.

Bryan Alvarez reports on Wrestling Observer Live that the Top Guys have once again asked for their releases from the company. The former RAW Tag Team Champions put in their request earlier this week but it was turned down once again.

Alvarez also stated that Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson “desperately want out” from the company and some rumors suggest that they recently turned down big-money deals from WWE.

In the past few weeks, the Revival has been used very scarcely on WWE TV. The two men have been wanting to take a break from the company for quite some time now.

They’ve also been teasing a move to AEW, having had multiple interactions with some of the company’s top stars on Twitter lately. If the WWE doesn’t grant them their release then the two men have no choice but to complete the rest of their contract before it eventually expires.
