The Rock could return at Survivor Series
WrestlingNews recently reported that WWE is planning to bring back The Great One could at WWE Survivor Series later this year. The show will mark the 25th anniversary of his WWE debut. The report states that:
“There was some hope that The Rock would actually wrestle at Survivor Series. The reason why WWE wants The Rock on that show is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his debut. The Rock debuted in a traditional Survivor Series match in 1996.”
Bringing the former WWE Champion could a huge boost for the company. There have been speculations regarding a match between the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Great One.
His return could mean that it would sow the seeds of the huge rivalry between the cousins and who knows the fans might get one the biggest matches in WWE history, that too at the grandest stage of WrestleMania. We will see if that match takes place.
