It is still a mystery to the fans as to why he pees in water bottles instead of using a toilet when he’s in the gym.
He recently opened up on the bizarre gym habit he accidentally revealed to the world a few years ago.
The pro-wrestler-turned-actor had accidentally revealed the habit back in 2017 when he was live on Instagram promoting his ‘Project Rock’ USDNA collection of clothing. When he turned the camera to his shoes, a large bottle of urine was clearly in shot.
In a new interview with Esquire, the subject was brought up again, and the multi-time WWE Champion gave more of an explanation, saying that the gyms he works out in don’t have bathrooms.
“I do pee in my water bottles, but let me give context to that. It’s not a water bottle that I’ve actually purchased solely for water that you wash and clean when you’re done using it. These are just bottles that I’m no longer using.”
“Usually the gyms that I work out in don’t have a bathroom because they’re the iron paradise. They’re just hot, sweaty and dirty.”
‘The Great One’ further explained that he stays “pretty hydrated” so needs to use the bathroom during his workouts.
“Not a lot, but probably a couple of times during every workout I have to go to the bathroom. So, I break out the bottle.”
The Rock is celebrating his 25th Anniversary of his debut in WWE at Survivor Series pay-per-view.
