The Rock recently took a cheeky shot at his cousin, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. ‘THe Tribal Chief’ was spotted for the latest promotional shoot for C4Energy. The Head of the Table walked on a treadmill as he drank from the can. The clip was posted to the brand’s official Instagram handle.

The tweet got The Rock’s attention, who was quick to drag Reigns for walking on a treadmill. ‘The Great One’ roasted his cousin with an epic reply.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is seemingly unstoppable and the fans have been buzzing around that his cousin, The Rock will be a potential opponent down the line. It seems he would be a suitable contender for the title but that match might be in the works for WrestleMania 39 which has been billed as WrestleMania Hollywood. It turns out that ‘The Great One’ has teased a match against ‘The Tribal Chief.’
Over the last few years, there has been talking about this blockbuster bout that would likely be Rock’s final match. It all came down to The Rock’s schedule as it would have to be clear and in addition to his movie commitments, he is also deeply involved with the XFL when it re-launches next spring. As recently as last month, Dave Meltzer talked about the working plan for next year’s WrestleMania and he said that The Rock wants to do the match but nothing is etched in stone.
As of now, Reigns is set to defend his title against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match at tonight’s SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
