The Rock Humiliates Controversial WWE Star

The Rock, one of the greatest names in pro-wrestling history, recently revealed a piece of interesting information from his early years in WWE. ‘The Great One’ went on to reveal that he suggested WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to hire Brian Gewirtz as a writer.

Gewirtz recently revealed the cover of his upcoming book, There’s Just One Problem…., based on his stint as WWE’s head writer. He revealed the cover on his official Twitter handle, and the tweet received a response from none other than The Brahma Bull.

The Rock opens up on the incident

He had massive praise for Gewirtz and stated that he suggested Vince McMahon hire him as a writer, back during the Attitude Era. The Rock added that the WWE Chairman agreed to his proposal, but the wrestlers hated the decision.

“I first worked with Brian in ‘99 and suggested to @VinceMcMahon we hire Brian as @WWE’s first ever writer. Boss [Vince] agreed. Wrestlers hated it. I loved it. He became WWE’s head writer for years. Today he’s VP of @SevenBucksProd, And releasing this BOOK you should read!”

WWE’s first head writer and former WCW World Champion Vince Russo responded to The Rock on Twitter, stunned by his snub in favor of Gerwitz.

‘The Great One’ has worked in several blockbuster movies and now it seems that he could be replacing Will Smith in Disney’s Aladdin Sequel (per Giant Freakin Robot). Will Smith was phenomenal as Genie but his recent controversial actions at the Oscars might have cost him the role.

The Rock appeared in several Disney films (like Jungle Cruise Moana, and Race to Witch Mountain), and once again he might be working with them. Johnson’s career as an actor has been thriving since he has consistently delivered exceptional performances. He is also set to be featured in his first comic verse film, Black Adam, and if the news of The Genie is true, it is a testament to Johnson’s superstardom.
