The Rock ‘Removed’ From WrestleMania 38

The Rock has not competed inside a WWE ring since defeating Erick Rowan at WWE WrestleMania 32 in 2016. His last appearance for WWE was in 2019 during the 20th anniversary of WWE SmackDown by cutting a promo with Becky Lynch and attacking Baron Corbin. A former rival of the Rock recently dropped this bombshell.

It is now being reported that The Rock will be allegedly back in the landscape of sports entertainment and WWE, just not as soon as fans would like to hope.

According to Ringside News, The Rock is a ‘virtual lock’ for WWE WrestleMania in 2023. That particular WrestleMania, WWE WrestleMania 39 will be held at SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles city of Inglewood, California. It is also being reported that the Rock is not considered for the upcoming WWE’s WrestleMania 38 event being held in Dallas, Texas

According to Ringside News’ Steve Carrier: “The Rock’s return to pro wrestling is one instance of WWE having to book long-term, because his schedule is ridiculously busy.

We were told that next year’s WrestleMania isn’t looking likely for The Rock, but Dwayne Johnson is “a virtual lock for Hollywood Mania 2023.”

It is unclear who the Rock could face but heavy speculation from the WWE Universe that it will be none other than Roman Reigns.
