The Rock has mostly been away from WWE in the past few years due to his movie commitments and he didn’t even appear at the WrestleMania 34 earlier this year.
Though if some recent reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter are to be believed then the former World Champion may return to the company for a role at the Show Of Shows next year.
According to the Newsletter, there has been some talk about the Great One being interested in working WrestleMania in some capacity and if there are no scheduling conflicts, he is expected to make an appearance.
Regarding his role at the show, Observer points out how Elias has been calling out the former World Champion and if he does return an angle with the Drifter is the most likely thing to happen.
Although as we noted before, the insurance concerns stop the Rock from wrestling anymore so the likelihood of him being involved in an actual match is not very great.
