It was announced on Wednesday that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will produce and star in an unnamed action-comedy film for New Line Cinema that will be directed by Will Gluck.
The film will be produced by three motion picture companies (New Line Cinema, Oliver Bridge Entertainment and Seven Bucks). Seven Bucks is Johnson’s production company.
According to Deadline, the film will be something of a throwback like Lethal Weapon, Midnight Run and 48 Hours.
