The Rock is one of the greatest stars of WWE. AEW star Miro(formerly Rusev in WWE) recently made some bold claims on ‘The Great One.’
Miro opens up on The Rock
During his time in WWE, Miro simply did not have a very memorable run for the majority of his time in the company. He also explained why The Rock claimed to have a fling with Lana on WWE television.
On October 6, 2014, The Rock returned to RAW and confronted Miro and Lana. After a heated war of words, The Rock got physical with Miro. A couple of years later, The Rock had a brief encounter with Lana backstage, where he claimed to have had a fling with her at a hotel.
While speaking on talkSPORT, Miro said that The Rock fabricated the story of an affair with his wife so that he could get back at him for what Miro did to The Rock back in 2014:
“The first one was better, the one in Brooklyn. He showed up out of nowhere, we had a little talk and scuffle. I think that left a sour taste in his mouth. Even though he beat me up a little bit, I got the better of him. Maybe he was just sour about that so he had to come back and talk bad about Lana, imagining things.”
Miro has been back in AEW for a month now and competed in some solid matches. He is having a great run in the company. However, he recently failed to capture the brand new, AEW All-Atlantic Championship which was won by Pac at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
