The Rock will be starring in a feature film of the 1980s arcade game, “Rampage.” This game allows gamers to play humans mutated into giant monsters (A Lizard, a Gorilla or a Wolf) hellbent on destroying buildings and eating people.
For the film, Rock will be teaming with “San Andreas” Producer Beau Flynn to make the film for New Line Cinema. The film is expected to be released in the summer of 2016 as a potential franchise.
As of this writing, the plot and nature of Johnson’s role are not currently known.
