The Undertaker finally Rests in Peace at Survivor Series

Survivor Series was built up as the “Final Farewell” of The Undertaker. WWE was focused on making the PPV event about The Deadman. At the end of the show, his greatest friends and rivals joined one another to wish The Undertaker goodbye.

Still, everyone expected to get one more angle out of it. After all, it’s The Undertaker. He’s never truly gone, right? With Bray Wyatt tweeting about him earlier today, fans speculated that we’d get one final feud between the two men before The Phenom hung his boots up.

That wasn’t the case. Taker came to the ring and stated that after thirty years of putting opponents to rest, his time had come. He knelt down one final time, with a holographic image of Paul Bearer appearing on the apron. After that, he walked off. No surprise attack by The Fiend. No crazy assault from RETRIBUTION.

The Undertaker will now Rest in Peace.
