The Undertaker talks about his new character

The Undertaker is a living legend who has been working in WWE for decades. He has gone through several transformations during his time in the company. During the Boneyard match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36, he showed a character that is an amalgamation of The Deadman, The American Badass, and Mark Calaway.

The Undertaker spoke to the Nine Line Apparel live stream, where he provided an explanation as to what he meant by “unholy trinity.” During his build for the boneyard match, he mentioned an unholy trinity. It seems he was talking about himself.

“When AJ threw that first stone and made this personal, then it made it a no brainer. I couldn’t stay that mainstream Undertaker and be able to respond and deal with the things he was saying in that character.”

“A lot of people were curious, ‘What is the Unholy Trinity?’ Well, the Unholy Trinity that I referenced was The Deadman, The Badass, and the man himself, Mark Calaway, and I put them all together. My brain was working that way, it was the unification of all these three entities into one person.”

The Deadman went on to win his match at WrestleMania 36. Upon his return, it is likely he will be keeping the new persona that he made for the match. We will have to see when his next match will be.
