The pandemic has affected WWE in a huge manner. The talents have been at risk, while they have also tested positive on multiple occasions. Recently, Seth Rollins and others have tested positive. Fans returned to the shows after a long gap but things have once again started to worry them. The company is making some huge plans for the show which is set to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia as it will host the show, one that will become a yearly event.

WWE is eyeing to maintain the availability of talents

WWE made changes to their weekend live events to stop the spread of the disease. That leaves the availability of talent for the upcoming Day 1 pay-per-view on January 1st up in the air. WrestleVotes has reported that if the show happened today, changes would have to be made. Fortunately, WWE has about a week for the situation to improve.

“Regarding the availability of talent for this weekends Day 1 PPV, source told me this morning that if the show was tonight, multiple matches would have to be changed. Good thing the event isn’t until Saturday & WWE is hopeful they can keep the card as is. All fluid at this time.”

The extent of the outbreak and the number of superstars who are in jeopardy of being held out of the show is unknown. However, it is being believed it was done to keep them safe from the recent outbreak. WWE did pull certain main event talents who have matches at the PPV from the weekend shows, including Madison Square Garden. We will have to see how WWE deals with the situation.
