Thunderous AEW chants break out as fans reject controversial finish to Hell in a Cell main event

In the main event of Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, fans witnessed an epic battle between the Fiend and Seth Rollins. The two competitors battled under a grim red light as the hellacious mega structure surrounded them.

Throughout the course of the match, Rollins struggled to put down Bray Wyatt’s monstrous alter ego. Rollins hit over a dozen Stomps on the Fiend but the monster laid unaffected by them.

Rollins, in his moral dilemma, went to some twisted lengths when he assaulted the Fiend with a number of ring props. However, the Fiend was unfazed by all of this.

As a result of this, Rollins’ frustration got the better of him as he stacked the Fiend’s face with a ladder, a chair, and a toolbox one upon the other and then hit it with a sledgehammer as the referee called for the bell and disqualified him.

The decision to end the match in a disqualification didn’t sit well at all with the fans in attendance as the arena filled with their thunderous boos. The upset audience demanded to “restart” the match as the post-match events unfolded.

The Fiend managed to remain unfazed by all of this as well and eventually put Rollins in the mandible claw and bloodied his mouth with it.

Fans were still upset at the controversial finish to the match and as a result of this, loud AEW chants broke out. The show ended with Wyatt doing his signature pose while the fans’ boos made almost everything else inaudible.
