Tiffany Stratton’s journey in NXT began in 2021, and she quickly made a significant impact in her debut. Over time, Stratton diligently worked on improving her in-ring abilities and honing her character skills. However, it seems that adjusting to the demanding schedule of WWE posed a considerable challenge for her.
Known as NXT’s resident Buff Barbie, Stratton has always exuded confidence, but she had to work hard to reach her current position in the promotion. Joining the WWE Performance Center in August 2021, she was the only woman among a group of recruits, which naturally raised expectations for the young WWE Superstar.
During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Tiffany Stratton candidly shared her experience at the WWE Performance Center. She admitted that adapting to the center’s grueling schedule was incredibly tough for her.
The schedule at the Performance Center is undeniably demanding and unlike anything she had ever experienced before. Thankfully, Stratton had some prior wrestling experience and a basic understanding of the sport, which prepared her to some extent for what lay ahead.
As a newcomer, she found herself facing a hectic schedule, training approximately four times a week. However, Tuesdays were reserved for television tapings, which sometimes meant attending additional training sessions on that day as well.
Training sessions typically began at 8:30 AM and lasted until around 10:30 or 11:30 AM. Stratton revealed that taking bumps in the early morning was a challenging task.
After the training sessions, the wrestlers would proceed to the gym for weightlifting sessions. Following that, they would engage in classes focused on promos and acting, which were held every day.
For newcomers, attending open ring sessions and continuously working on their skills was seen as a mandatory and unwritten rule.
Navigating this demanding schedule proved to be a significant test for Tiffany Stratton, but her dedication and passion for wrestling pushed her to persevere and continue developing her abilities within the NXT system.
