Expected time for Xavier Woods return revealed

Xavier Woods has been out with an Achilles tear since October. Following his surgery on the 25th, Woods took to Twitter, heavily medicated, to attempt to give his fans an update.

Since then, we’ve heard very little about when he could be rejoining the New Day in-ring. However, CBS Sports’ Chuck Carroll recently spoke with the multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion, who finally revealed a general time frame for his return.

According to Carroll, Woods stated that it could be between five to nine months. With injuries like this, recovery time is usually a case to case basis.

Hopefully never. Xavier has wasted the last five years of my life with the disappointing trash that is New Day. I remember when he was first getting together with Big E and Kofi and thinking “man, it’s the new Nation! This is going to be great!” Then they had church promos and came out looking like someone you might expect to see in a pride parade.
